  8. The Guide to Select BBS's on Internet (The SBI List) is a comprehensive
  9. listing of privately-owned BBS systems accessible by telnet, rlogin, or
  10. World-Wide-Web. 
  11.  
  12. The SBI list is available in many formats, including an extensive WEB
  13. page with telnet and WEB page links to each BBS on the list.  
  14.  
  15. The SBI list is the "official" Telnet-able BBS FAQ available
  16. on the alt.answers, news.answers, and comp.answers moderated Internet 
  17. Usenet newsgroups.
  18.  
  19. Sysops - becoming a part of the list is free and encouraged!  Read the 
  20. SYSOP.DOC file available via FTP or FINGER below for more information. 
  21. An interactive WEB input form for new/updated BBS information is
  22. also available.  Visit the SBI home page for more information.

  24. The SBI list has been published in several national magazines, including
  25. Boardwatch and West Coast Online, and is scheduled for regular
  26. publication in BBS Magazine.  The list is also scheduled to be featured
